Meet Reb
Make some noise for the newest members of team Magneti: Marketing Manager Reb Roebuck and her fabulous golden retriever, Remy!
Reb’s a proven leader in digital marketing, with years of experience managing high-performing campaigns and powering unprecedented growth — but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you’re ready to discover Reb’s hidden talent, marvel at her biking skills, and watch Remy wage war with a root vegetable, buckle up and enjoy the ride!
What drew you to Magneti?
The people! It was evident early on that the people here are brilliant at what they do and they love who they get to do it with!
Best concert you’ve ever been to?
Moon River Music Festival in Chattanooga, TN. A laid-back weekend of great scenery, atmosphere, people, and folky-pop music. They even have an area set up with big screens where you can watch college football!
(Alt. Response: Yes, I did go to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert and it was TOP notch, but I refuse to be basic!)
Name one random talent you have that has no business on a stage.
I have a teeny tiny gap in the gums between my two front teeth that my dentist has called “triangular square shaped” and genetic. Pretty neat! But the best part is that I can squirt water through this small gap like a fountain and it usually comes in handy at just the right occasion…
Tell us about your child. Specifically, the furry one. *queue Ratatouille soundtrack*
I have a golden retriever named Remy who is the BEST EVER! He is goofy, cuddly, and loves a good crunchy carrot!
What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t take yourself too seriously!
Describe your best “off duty” relaxing day or evening.
My dream “off duty” day would start with a long early morning run with friends, then a trip to the farmer’s market followed by taking Remy on a long hike or to the dog park (where I would sit and read a good book). Maybe wrap up the day hosting a game night with friends and really good street tacos.
Tell us about your multi-thousand mile bike ride? Seems equally exhausting and incredible!
It was insane! In the summer of 2018, I co-led a team of seven people on a 3,500 mile cycling trip from Seattle to NYC with Venture, a nonprofit organization. Those 60 days were hilariously unpredictable, insanely grungy, and wildly freeing. This was one of the first times I felt my strengths and passions collide — it felt like pure magic! And, the lessons the road taught me that summer, I keep learning from.
Your future biography will be titled:
Three Red Tomatoes (… and Two Double Stuf Oreos)
